Skamper Industries announces that Skamper-Ramp?, a patented water-rescue device for animals, is now available for sale worldwide.
The product is manufactured and distributed out of its Mount Pleasant headquarters. The Company provides pet owners and animal lovers with a means of safeguarding against unnecessary pet-panic in the water or death due to drowning.According to the product's inventor and Partner, Tom Davis, "Every year over 5,000 pets needlessly drown in swimming pools and walled lakes.
This doesn't even include the millions of other creatures?raccoons, possums, squirrels, mice and even frogs, etc?that suffered the same fate.

Materials were tested to maximize long-term durability, strength-to-weight ratios, chemical- and UV-resistance and cost effectiveness.
Ultimately, a plain white, box-corrugated, recyclable, unbreakable polypropylene was chosen.
